7 FAMOUS RUSSIANS WHO ARE REALLY POLISH Russia ha 7 FAMOUS RUSSIANS WHO ARE REALLY POLISH

Russia had many outstanding personalities who glorified the country and the entire Russian people, not only in Europe, but throughout the world. We habitually perceive them as Russians, but if we begin to understand their biography in detail, it turns out that many of them are not quite Russian.

Others are even completely non-Russian.

For example, one of the founders of cosmonautics, the outstanding Soviet scientist Yu. V. Kondratyuk, who calculated the optimal flight trajectory to the moon (later used by NASA), spent his whole life with a fake passport. Everyone knew him as a Ukrainian, although in reality he was the son of a Jew and a German baroness.

He was simply afraid of reprisals from the Soviet government. And there are a lot of such examples. This article focuses on famous people who had Polish roots. There were also quite a few of them, but we chose only the most famous personalities.
